Lilly is a fibre artist living in Manchester and working from Islington Mill, Salford. A 2023 graduate from Manchester School of Art, her creative practice explores the intersections of vulnerability, technology, narrative, and fibre. These concepts are researched and communicated through woven textile, tactile installation, research folios, and sketchbooks which take the form of confessional journals. Her practice spans art, design, and craft disciplines, integrating them into creative research for social awareness and initiating open and honest conversation.
Lilly is currently exploring autistic identity, conscious unmasking, and how spaces can be carved for autistic people in the often overwhelming worlds of art and design.
In 2022, Lilly received a Scholarship Award for Excellence from the Worshipful Company of Weavers. In 2023, she was highly commended by the Manchester School of Art Department of Design for Design Innovation.
